new from Missouri

I own a 1990 Bonneville SE w/ 180,000 miles. It's been a great car, but with age comes aches and pains. Hubby and I talked and it looks like we're going to keep it a few more years (got a freshman in college and another one not far off). So all the stuff that I've put up with over the years I've decided to fix. But, I don't want to sink too much money into the car because one hit and it's totaled. So I'll be asking for advice on here from time to time.

By the way, I'm jealous of all of you that have the later model Bonneville. I like the style of them so much better than mine!

Don't feel bad. If I hadn't gotten the deal on my '98 SSEi, I would still be driving my '90 SSE. It had 227,000 miles on it when I gifted it to my daughter, and was running great. I was getting 24 mpg in town and 30-32 mph on the highway. Although I loved my '90, I love the performance of my '98 SSEi. Basically the same mileage.

Ah, but age also breeds character! I've always liked the looks of the 87-91 Bonnies.
Got any pics of it?
