Default 99 pontiac grand am brake issues

Trying to make a long story short. Replaced front passenger cv axle, replaced both front brakes, replaced both rear wheel cyliders, replaced master cylinder TWO times! Still do not have brake pressure even after bleeding all 4 wheels and abs, and bench bleeding master cylinder. (multiple times) Their is a small leak where master cylinder and brake booster join, seems how their is not supposed to be a gasket where these two parts meet I am at my wits end, any suggestions will be appreciated! Some say with gm vehicles abs needs to be taken to a dealership and power bled but I am sure you car gurus know of a much cheaper solution for the leak and helping me to find brake pressure? (hopefully) Thank you.

Yes, with GM ABS vehicles, you need a high end scanner or GM TECH2 to activate the ABS Bleed feature. The poor mans version would be to find a large gravel parking lot, get some speed up and slam on the brakes to the point where the ABS kicks on. A few passes like this should work. It did with my 2002 S10.

I as well have heard of this to, but for me it doesn't make sense if brake lines are all closed how would that bleed the abs? thanks Mike

It doesn't bleed the lines, it just bleeds the valves and pump inside the ABS unit. How exactly, not sure.

ok, so it activates the solenoids in the abs unit, I assume after this gas/brake action bleeding the lines again would be a smart move?

small leak where the master cylinder and brake booster meet, not enough of a leak to drain fluid from the reservoir though, just enough to **** me off..

if you have a leak there its getting past the seal for the petal rod in the master cyl. and will leak under pressure and make the car feel like it has air in the line
