Default been around for a bit

ive been Lurking on this site for a little while now . i just registerd. so i thought i should say hey since i made my first post. I have a poniac 6000 SE awd. its just a prodject of mine that i have I also have a 95 monte carlo LS. ive been thinking for some time about ganking the drivetrain from the SE and mating it upto my monte so i'll have a AWD monte. thats the reason that i bought the SE in the firstplace. im still trying to work out how im going to get it done. But if the impala ends up coming out with a LT1 fwd platform. i'll go after that drivetrain instead.
well thanks for checkin out my Hey im here post.

The Impala WAS offered with the LT1. Just in the previous body style. I doubt you'll ever see the current body offered in that manner with RWD. And a Northstar/4T80 combination would be a tight squeeze in that W body.

The AWD 6000'* were ahead of their time. Neat cars. I recall awhile back that they adapted the AWD setup from an Aztek and mated it to an LS1 in a Grand Prix. They broke everything in the test.
