I just recently purchased this vehicle just this past Friday. I would like to learn more about the motor and actual vehicle. Its kinda hard because there are no forums for the Oldsmobiles that I could find. But what ever this is close enough.
Well I been hurting pretty bad lately with all the gas I have been using driving from school and back. So I did some searching for a daily driver.
A family friend/co-worker just happened to have a 1992 Oldsmobile 88 Royal 3.8L that he bought for his daughter. She disliked the car because it look too "Old people" looking. So I asked him would he like to get rid of it. He happily said yes. I said you would like to get rid of it cheap. He then said yeah $500-600.
So yesterday I finally had the funds. I only took $500 cash with me. When I talked to him I asked so how much did you want for?
He said how much do I have. I said $500 cash.
The next thing suprised me. He said ok let me get the title!
So thats my $500 daily driver/beater car.
Now the my Dakota should be seeing alot new mods coming its way!

Future mods:
I just went and bought new plugs and wires today. I dunno when I'll put them in. Maybe tomorrow.
Shampoo interior. (smells a little like a dog)
Replace all bulbs around car. (A couple dont work)
Change oil.

Thats all I guess. Its a DD/Beater so I am not putting much money in it.

If anyone has any ideas give me a holler.
