Hi all- new member from NY
Just picked up my 97 Bonneville SE with 60K miles yesterday. After driving japanese cars for so long, I forgot how nice the american car rides. I really like the car. I have the history on the car back to 20K miles. I live in NY, this car came from Florida. It'* champagne with a tan/champagne interior. I washed and waxed it yesterday and it looks almost new. Hope I can get another 100K miles out of it.
The only problem I am having is the a/c is not working right. I posted a help question in the 92 -99 forum area, hope someone can offer some expertise.
Thanks all and thanks for a great site.

Welcome...make sure you have an eye on that upper intake manifold and your oil/coolant, hopefully we can shed some light on prevention before you are affected. Read the sticky in 92-99
Otherwise a flawless car...enjoy!

Thanks for the nice welcome. I live in Middletown NY....about 1 1/4 hrs northwest of NYC.
Yeah, I know about the intake issue. The person before me had work done already. I have two minor issues with the car:
1. it tripped a code for the EGR...easy fix
2. The a/c needs attention. I am starting to get the materials to find the leak and repair.
Other than that the car is very sweet. I really like the ride and it has so much more comfort than the Acura that I just sold. The champagne color is real nice.
