New guy on the Thread from Tx

How is it going I have been following this thread for a while as a work related project and i have a 99 Grand Am with only 66k and it has been sitting for a while. After reading this thread I am ready to start putting some work on her and get her ready for the road

Well howdy Dusty. I use to own an 87 GA 3.0 and a 95 GA quad cam. Nice roomy cars, pretty quick too. I see from your other post you use to own the one your getting back. Ahhh, the love with reuniting with a previous car.

Appreciate the welcome, I should have the car here sometime next wk end when I get paid. Then I am going to tear down the motor to replace all the gaskets, and water pump. Do yall know if the Grand Am has a timing belt or chain. I have a 99 3000gt and its a belt and I've heard belts are harder to change. What mods would be good for the 2.4L especially since it is such a low mileage engine and trans with only 66k. I already have a cold air intake on it from when I first owned it.
