Default Hiya! New to the forum....

Hi everyone!! I'm a fellow son of Miss Bonnie myself and I'm here to join in the fun!! I'm currently a member at W-body.com under the same username and now I'm going to be in TWO forums!

I'm 18-and-a-half years old and I'm a senior in high school. I'm living at home with my parents and younger brother (a junior in HS). I've always had an interest in cars, but I began developing my interest/knowledge when I got my first car as a hand-me-down from my mom: a 1992 Chevrolet Lumina 3.1, grey in color and very clean. I grew to love that car, but also had a notorious speeding habit (and still do). I ended up wrecking that car, and then purchased a 1989 Buick Reatta from a small mom-and-pop auto shop that had sat in the lot for a long time. I still have the Reatta AND a vid on YouTube.

Now, I'm on my third car: a 1991 Bonneville LE, white, with 221k miles!!! It still drives like a champ and can still spin the tires easily (although I'm easy on this car because I want it to last).

To save on typing labor, I'm going to post a link to the thread on my Bonneville that I posted some time ago over at W-body. Enjoy:
Another old/new car....little Miss Bonnie...PICS TO COME SOON!!

Also, if you're interested in seeing my Reatta'* vid, go here:

On a side note, my brother drives a 1991 Nissan Maxima, my dad drives a 2001 Cadillac Seville SLS, and my mom drives a 2007 Kia Sportage LX with the 5-speed.

Thanks guys!! Yeah, most of the guys over at W-body are younger, usually in their 20'* and 30'*. Very few are quite as young as me, however, but there are a few. Same goes for the guys up in the 40'* and 50'*. But yeah, GM owns all and when it comes to buying cars, I'm loyal to them only........or Nissan *shrug*

I'm a big fan of cars from the 80'* and early 90'*. I'm not really too fond of all the new cars these days, what with their exaggerated curves, they're huge taillights, and their complexity. But, I'd take a Buick Lacrosse anyday!!

I should mention, I'm more a fan of Buick.

*high five*

I remember back when had my Lumina and I raced an "old fart" in his Camry. I lost. I told an older guy about it and he said "yeah, you don't want to race the old guys. They always have all the toys"

ROFL!!! Yep, some of us old guys still dont like being passed. This old man keeps 2 bottles of nitrous strapped to his Northstar engine. Just to spank kids with imports. But it more fun not to let on to that little secret.
BTW, Welcome to the Bonneville Forum. We like to provide the best Tech Info out there and do it in a fun casual manner. Hope you enjoy it and stick around.
