The New Guy
Hey guys. I'm 19 and I have a 1995 Bonneville SE. Black with the gold honeycomb rims. I'm a big Pontiac fan and love my car to death. I'll post some pictures later.
Anyway, I got the car from my parents (who owned it since '95) when I was 17 and I just hit the big 100,000 miles with it. My friends and I actually took it to a drag strip and had it going exactally 100 MPH when it hit 100,000 miles. I fell in love with the car and didn't want the Sunfire that they were planning on selling to me. It also just passed inspection and they said that it has better emissions than some newer cars. I guess I saw these forums and I am planning on upgrading a few things. New speakers, headunit and maybe some 12's in the trunk. Also planning on maybe putting in an intake to maybe improve on the alright pretty good highway miles. So, just saying hey and hope some of you don't mind the questions that I might ask :) |
Well see this site is the most addictive thing for a bonnie lover! so Welcome!

glad to have you.....as a person that also got the car from the parents who were the orignal owners i know how you feel....you will fit right in here
if ya need some aduio help just holler (ive done a "few" things  ) where ya from?? |
Hi and welcome.
Being a 95, you would have the series 2 engine and the composite upper intake manifold. Being over a 100K miles, you need to be aware of the possible failure. On way for linky. Edit: Got it http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...e=article&k=38 It's a must read for anyone after 95 with the composite intake. Better to be informed than to end up needing a motor. |
Welcome.

When the Cat is up to temp, these cars are actually very clean and emissions are down to .0002 grams per mile... Almost nothing... __________________ Best Car Insurance | Auto Protection Today | FREE Trade-In Quote |

Welcome to BC! :D
Take a little time to read up on some things... Go to TECHINFO (above) and you'll see some good articles there, including one that discusses your intake mod options, or search on "CAI" and you'll see tons of threads on that. All else fails, you can feel free to ask whatever questions you need. ;) |
