New Bonnie Owner

I just bought a 99 Bonnie SSE and all I can say is WOW!! Never was a GM fan even though I grew up in a GM town but started looking at cars and drove the Bonnie and fell in love. Have heard nothing but good things from various mechanics about the 3800 motor and figured I'd try one out. Have been driving small 4 bangers for years for the gas mileage but heard the Bonnie would get high 20's and possibly even 30 (I put about 20k per year mostly highway) and I was sold on the sweet ride. My Bonnie is a 99 with dark cherry metallic and chocolate leather interior with the gold honeycomb wheels. It is perfect. I will put pix on soon. I've got a question though, I've heard putting a cold air intake with a KN filter will improve the HP and the mileage....how much we talkin?? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Welcome. A nice flowing intake will really increase your milage on the freeway. These things are true cruisers.

Glad to be part of the site. I'm from Ohio just north of Dayton. It sounds like the air intake will pay for itself since I do a lot of highway driving. I'll post some pix soon, it is a sweet ride. 8)
