Welcome to BC!

Tell us more about the Bonne. Where are you from?

bonneandclyde 08-16-2007 10:50 AM

Ty. My boyfriend and I live near Albany NY. The car isn't in our possession yet as the seller is awaiting the title from DMV. The car appears mechanically sound the engine light came on and off after a few seconds after a test drive. He said it needs a tuneup. Other than that it drives beautifuuly. The interior is pretty dirty, rearview mirror needs to be glued on, maplights between front visors is hanging, leather is dirty and there's a hole in one spot and the glovebox door has no handle so it hangs. AC does not work. that's about it as far as we can tell without driving it for hours.

Hi and welcome to the club. We are very active in the North East USA. Lots of great members live in the NE area. Beware of Boosty though, he will try to corrupt you into attending NEBF and having a great time.

lol ty. I doubt I could ever get this car to the visual splendor that most of you put into your bonnes, but I do want to take care of it and get the interior looking as new as we can.

welcome. I am down in binghamton, so it's not too far from you. if you need any parts, let me know and I can keep an eye out for some, or I might have some already (although I just moved so getting to them is difficult at the moment. )

Welcome and how you enjoy the car. Search feature is a great feature of the site and can probably help you solve any issues you come across.

Thank you, that's awesome! I wonder if I can get the glovebox door replaced. I'm new to all of this. I've never had to replace interior parts in a car before and my boyfriend is better at mechanics.

NEBF is probably more about the members than the cars. I have attended two so far and enjoyed both meets. Also watch out for Jimmy Floyd he works hand in hand with Boosty. ;)

Welcome!
First of all, love the Username. Surprised it hasn't been used on this site as of yet!

When you get the car, please update your signature with year and trim level so the technical experts know what you're working on, should you have a question down the road.

Also, Pics in Your Ride would be great when you get a chance! We want to see it!!!

I have a '93SSEi myself, and I just love it.

Cheers,
Adam

I'm innocent...I dunno anything about any of the parts missing off Tom's car when he left. (You guys don't think he needed all those lug nuts right?)

If Jimmy aka Geoff doesn't have the part..likely I do.
