Default misfiring #3 cylinder

I over revved my engine going up a long hill the other day. I had it on cruise and pressed the accelerator just as it downshifted. It died and I rolled to the top of the hill and pulled over. It restarted without any problem, but was then missing and the check engine light came on. I scoped it at Autozone and it logged #3 cylinder misfire. So I replaced the wire, then the plug, and finally the coil with no improvement. It only misfires going uphill above 60 miles per hour. At lower speeds and gears it accelerates just fine with no apparent misfire. Could it be the injector? thanks ahead of time for any ideas. New guy--erniegrimes

ok the FIRST thing you need to do is put your Year and the Model of your car in your signature so we know how to proceed

and also it would help of you had the specific code from Autozone

We prefer mechanical problems to be posted in the Mechanical sections for better visibility and help, so whe you let us know what year and engine/model you have, we'll move the topic for you.
