Default New guy from Indiana

Hey everyone, just joined up. Haven't really had a chance to look around yet.

I just took possesion of my wifes 1995 Bonneville SE 3800 Series II. She backed into a tree, so I took the insurance check, bought the car back off of the insurance company for $200, and used the other $4000 on a down payment for her new car.

I am in the process of fixing the damage she did when she backed into the tree, so I'll probably have some questions for you all.

Thanks,
Shawn

I don't have any pics of the damage yet, and I've already fixed some of it. She cracked the right corner of the rear bumper, busted out the passenger taillight, smashed in the corner of the passenger side quarter panel, and wrinkled up the right corner of the trunk lid.

I got some '95 SSE taillights from a local junkyard, and have already put them on. I had to beat the crap out of the top corner of the quarter panel to get the "new" taillight to fit in there, and I still have to get the trunk lid lined up right.

I'll get some pics soon of the damaged area.

Sharp lookin car. Definitely worth fixin up since it doesn't sound like too much damage. You oughta be able to find a junkyard trunk lid and bumper for not too much money. What are your plans for the quarter panel? I'm from Centerville...not too far.

When my car was rear-ended and totaled all i got was $3250 - $400 buy back But i fixed it for $300. :o
