I had a DIC installed in my 2012 GMC Sierra prior to delivery, and then had the same DIC installed in my 2011 GMC Sierra, but can only get basic info' on 2011 - GMC says that the info' is not available on 2011, but a friend who works at Chevy Dealer says all from 2008 thru 2012 are the same and similar info' should be available on both trucks - can someone confirm please.

That'* odd, I know those DIC'* were a fairly popular install on the new trucks when they first came out, they were all plug and play, the plug was behind the IP bezel, just plug it in and away you go. Can't remember if I ever did a 2011, haven't done one in a long time. I'll ask my shop foreman tomorrow if I remember to see if he recalls this.
