hi there,
my name is MADthieu and i'm from Amsterdam (Holland)
my car is a silver gray 1979 Bonneville Brougham.
wich i own for about 1 year now.
originally it came from Zwitserland. but i imported it to the Netherlands.
it'* not my first bonneville.
i had a 2 door '76 or '77 a few years ago.
that one was in really bad shape ... and didn't make it.
(still have my pic'*)
but when i came across this baby, didn't waste one second to get it.
making me happy everytime i drive it (wich is daily)
i'm very happy to find a forum specially for "bonnies" cause i've been looking for ages to find one.
been wasting lots of time on a dutch american car forum (A.A.P)
and now i'm here ...
so, with this introduction.
i would like to say Hi to all the bonneville lovers out there.
hope i'll find some "usefull" info for my car.
thanks for now ...

yep,
it'* a curb feeler AND the exhaust sticking out on both sides !!!
curb feelers really look cool on these cars. (i think)
i started out with a pair of 8. but only 4 left now.
don't think i can get any new ones over here (Holland)
about the exhaust ... really it is TO loud !!!
but it came with the car. and i didn't have time or resources to change it.
at first it was ok like this. but after a while it'* just a nasty sound.
so, i will change it as soon as possible !!!
can anyone tell me more about the buick engine.
it has an oil leak somewhere ... oil dripping from the carter-pan and the transm. carter. (lowest point)
i'm sure it'* not the ATF but the engine oil.
could it b a crank seal ?!?
everyone, THANKS !!!
