I have owned a 93 SE since 99. Bought it with 80,000 miles - first time in a Bonnie. Figured I would take a chance since it was black with ghetto gold rims and pinstripes - the wife said it was probably a crime scene!! Well, it now has 184,000 miles and the tranny just started to act up when I pushed it to 70mph. So, figuring I had good luck, I bought a 97SSE (had to upgrade) in that color you can't tell what it is!! Aqua metallic? It has a lot of the toys and I got it at a great price, but it does need some fixin'. The 93 is still on the road and I have considered parting with it - but it is hard to decide. Is it worth a tranny job? Or put the money I get for it back into the 97? I am looking forward to getting the sage advice I have seen on the forums for my own questions.

On the 93, I'd spend the $80 on a tranny flush first. That'* all mine needed. It may be that simple.

Welcome! Glad to have you here. You can join our ever growing ranks of multiple Bonneville owners. Some pretty nice pairs around here.
