working on the little Buick wife has it is a 91 and is experiencing some issues. more reading for info.

also have 91 S10, having door problems with it, the latches and the hinges,

basicly have retired the 74 4x4 pickup, it was really rough most likely has over 25000 miles on it and most have been off road used as a ranch truck all it life,
ring gear is out of it,

I have done most all of my own work since I was 16, rebuilt most every engine on the place, (not the buick or the s10), but the tractors and the combine and the other trucks and cars we have had in the past, the other engine I have not rebuilt is in the 52 military 6x6, GMC, have rebuilt ti hydramatic transmission,

my son and I have rebuilt a number of engines for him, over the years,

have rebuilt a number of automatic transmissions on older machines,

one thing I have enjoyed with the internet age is to be able to get the Factory manuals on the cars and trucks I have,

my inlaws gave my son the old farm 52 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup, it had been shredded for nearly 20 years, He had bought it new, amazing simple machine,
there was a local fair and the theme was the 1950'*, so I got a battery (had to take off the gas line and drip carburetor cleaner to get the varnish out. and checked it out, tried to start it, it bent two push rods, (ordered in the push rods), when they came in in about a 15 min time the new were installed the old truck purring like new, so simple unbolt two bolts off the rocker cover, lift off, loosen tappets and slide over rocker arm, pull out bent rods and put in new, slide the rocker arm in to position, and adjust tappet and put cover back on,
had a lot of fun driving it in the parade that week end, and around town.

just amazing on how simple the older cars and trucks were/are,

I do appreciate forums like this to help filling the voids on new problems one runs into,
