New from AZ
Hi from Phoenix,
I've known about this site for about a year after I did some research and found the excellent paper on repairing the instrument cluster on '93s (still haven't actually done it). What a great resource! Until last Feb, I owned 2 Bonnevilles (see signature). Owning 2 was actually unintended, as I viewed the cars as "basic transportation". But when I found this site, I realized maybe there was something to it. Anyway, I'm a database administrator/programmer for a major credit card company with a background in electrical engineering. I'm mechanically inclined, but the real mechanic in the family is my father-in-law and we've done a fair amount of repair/maintenance on my cars. My personal "favorite" is the 20 minute generator change- done it 5 times for both cars combined! The heat out here kills them and the batteries.
Anyway, thanks for a great site!

Kicksock..welcome.. Phoenix eh? That SW group is growing by the minute.
On that dash .. if you search with my name for dash/cluster/gauges you'll find a pic of the actual cluster in pieces. They are easy to do.
Don't drop the steering column and leave the black screws in the cluster when you are removing the gold colored ones (once its out of the cluster).. if it'* only the three gauges to the right..it'* a swap of the small board..but I think that only applies to SSE/SSEi clusters.

Welcome! I lived in east Mesa for about 2 year in 97-99. In fact, I'll be out there vising again in November. Loved the weather!
