Default Picking it up in an hour.

Hello everyone. I am about to purchase, in an hour, a 2003 Bonneville SE. It'* liquid silver and has about 9000 miles on it. I will be adding a few pics after I detail her up. Whether to buy a Bonneville wasn't a hard decision to make. My in laws (hehe sounds kinda funny), Hailey and Rob, who are both members here let me drive theirs the first time I saw it. The Bonneville is a very impressive car both in looks and overall performance. They do have me beat by about 35 horses with their SSEi but I can't complain with 205.
I must say I was also impressed with the ongoings on this site. The mission here is clear and I'll do my best to offer and seek advice (I used to be a bit of a car nut). Time for a new hobby. Again I must say classy site for a classy car.
Thanks,
Ed
soon to be 2003 SE

Sorry about taking so long to tell you about it. I've just been spending alot of time with it.
Too rainy for any pics today. Cleaned it all up and then it rained. :( So like I said I spent some time with it and after looking it over more thoroughly I can't see any evidence that it has seen any winter road salt. So I'll at least have the opportunity to paint up any spots missed by the factory. Although there doesn't appear to be too many. I was also pleased to see that there was already a predrilled mounting hole for an exhaust hanger for the dual setup. I am thinking about Flowmaster for the dual exhaust. Sounds great on my fathers 95 camaro although it is a v8. Anyway I think I'll drive it the way it is for a bit so that when I do make some changes I'll notice the difference.

Great to see you on here! And you didn't tell the whole story about the rain...lol. The real story is, he got it yesterday, washed, waxed and dried it and it rained last night. He then dried it again, and it rained in the morning. So he dried it again and it poured just before we got there to see it ...but it looked beautiful anyway.
