Whats Up!
Well I just was given a 1993 Bonneville SE from my parents. I am currently driving my 2003 Eclipse GTS, and was in need of a larger car for my boys. When they have to ride in the back of the Eclipse they are all cramped so my parents let me have their car. They did not have the time to fix her up so my mom handed me the keys as of last week.
She has been sitting for a little over a year now and has some problems. She tried to turn over but will not start. The transmission has a little problem when the car did start. The transmission seemed to not to go into any gears unless the car warmed up a bit. The brake master cylinder needs to be replaced which i did this afternoon. The back window was broken in one day by one of the landscaping workiers at my parents apartment. They broke the center dash to steel the radio, and some other things as well.
The rest of the car is in pretty good shape, the paint has not faded, there are small dings here and there, the interior needs to be cleaned a bit though.
Well wish me luck during the next few weeks getting her up and running once again!

Well i have finally got around to getting the new fuel pump installed and got her to start right up. Hopefully soon after getting the small rear driver side window replaced and some other small things I can start driving her.

Just a tip, The rubber and metal that surround that window are part of it. You have to get a new top half of the door. Junkyard obviously, But shipping isn't too bad. I sent one to WA for only $40 or so.

Doesn't sound like there'* anything really wrong with the car that can't be fixed. Most of your running problems are probably caused by being left to sit, and will probably work themselves out with a fluid change or even a flush. Everything else is just junkyard work.
In any case, Welcome to the Club!!

Update
Well its been awile since I gave any kind of update, so here is ab bit of an update with some photos.
I have moved her to my garage along with all the freaking spiders that had made the car their home during the past year. I have bought a quarter window and will hopefully have it installed soon, and have started to replace the old mildew smell fabric on the seats with black leather I got on ebay for $50 .
New spark plugs, wires, and synthetic oil change will be next week while i am on vacation.
Here are some photos of what i am working with.
A BIG THANKS FOR THE A-HOLE THAT DID THIS FOR A CHEAP STEREO!!!
Replacing the left tail light since some crackhead tried to steal it and ended up breaking it.
