Yeah, I guess I could have been a little less vague.

I'm from Lincoln, and currently I work for the cable company in the commercial broadband department.

I'm doing lots of digging on mods. I'd like to have all of my ducks in a row before I do anything. Not much of a risk-taker, since I just can't afford to be. The goal is mostly to absolutely maximize stock performance and efficiency vis a vis exhaust/intake/ignition/pulleys.

As far as cosmetic/style mods, I'm mostly focusing on restoring and protecting.

Exhaust - replacing the so-so exhaust tips with some chrome ones of similar shape.
Paint - removing previous owners custom scratches and swirls.
Tint - well, of course.
Interior - getting all of my gear mounted: cell, XM, CB, GPS, iPod
Audio - not much here initially, aside from a simple but effective sub/amp/high-pass filter setup with the stock deck, since I really like how the wheel/HUD/SCV and all that ties together.
Wheels/Tires - Being really careful not to go ghetto with the look, since I can't STAND that, I'm being choosy with aftermarket wheels and tires. While this is always a subjective topic, I really want mine to stand out, and I found a set of 20" wheels I think would do that, without making the car look like a drug dealer's, which is way too easy to do with a wheel that big on a car.

Other than that, I'm really glad to be part of the forum, and I look forward to using the knowledge base.

Thanks for the warm welcomes!

Yeah, I can't get over how nice it is. I mean, the girlfriend's granddad's got this '89 DeVille she likes to borrow, and I hate driving that thing, even though it rides well.

It's nice to drive something that feels large, sturdy, but still pretty nimble.

Can't wait to stick some nice, wide meats on it and make it stickier.

It's just the right smoothness level for me, too. Smooth enough to be comfortable, but not so that you feel detached from the road.
