Bonneville in Oshkosh
Hey Pontiac freaks I'm here in Oshkosh WI and bought my wife a 1992 Bonneville for Valentines Day 2004.........Now, she doesn't run too well. Brake lines leak so no brakes which brings us to the safety feature of not getting it out of Park. Then to make matters worse the tilt-wheel went past the stops at the bottom and won't return to the top position. So what'* next beside blowing it up!!!
We'll get her fixed somehow
Cheers

I love this car and always liked Bonnevilles that is why I bought it. It just needs some maintenance, so how do I fix my tilt-wheel situation?? It is currently in the low position and went past the "stops"

Here'* the deal. Took the car to my mechanic see about front wheel bearings which it needs, then I go to start the beast, when it won't come out of park (brake pedal to the floor) okay then, the safety feature does not allow to shift if the brake lights or fluid levels are low, fine. So I'm wrestling with the column shift and pulled down the tilt-wheel and thar she goes past the lowest position, so now the lever to move the wheel up and down won't budge......Ain't that the bees knees!!!
