New Guy, Series I questions, etc.
Hey guys, I'm new here, I frequent fiero.nl as JoeDirt and thirdgen.org as 86BirdSE
I'm converting a 1985 Fiero GT to a series 1 3800. It will be mated to a 5 spd manual. The engine is out of a lo-miles 1989 Rivera. I've picked up a set of roller rockers and plastic intake/ alum.base from a Tuned Port 93 (I think) bonneville. to replace the log on the rivera motor.
Electrical seems to be my biggest nightmare. I'm wondering if anyone has a part number for a pcm and pinouts for something that will work with the type of motor I have. Thanks a bunch!

Actually, the 89 motor you're installing isn't a Series1. Series 1 REALLY started in 1992. Welcome! Check out www.L67swap.com , much of their knowledge will apply to you. One of our members has successfully swapped an L67 into a Fiero already

Well, you can, but the N/A (L27) doesn't have the beefed up parts that an SC'd (L67) does, and thus would not last very long.
