I know little to nothing about car mechanics but am impressed by talented mechanics. As a woman, especially now finding myself a little on in years, I've tried to be cautious about finding the right mechanics. As in my professional life selling real estate, I've seen that buyers and sellers with no savvy can be victims to people in this trade. I think the same can apply in all aspects of businesses and trades. So I try to look savvy even when I'm not and in just the two days that I've been a member, Danthur and a couple of other members have taught me well so I can clearly state and resolve my case with a couple of problems I have with my 2000 Pontiac Bonneville.

Welcome to the Forum and the nice words. We enjoy getting together and talking it up about our cars and helping out. Even if you aren't mechanically inclined, if we can give you a clearer idea of how things work,.....or don't work; It makes it easier to get the work done and not soaked with a bill you don't understand. Glad the guys have been able to help you out Ma'am.
