Hi everyone.
My name'* Jon, and I'm from St. Louis. Right now I'm a Dodge Avenger owner and am a member at ASEC.net. My father-in-law is in the market for an SUV and has a Bonneville I'm planning on purchasing. I might even get it for free!! It'* a 1993 SLE, I believe, 135k, maroon with tan leather and tinted windows. You can eat off the engine. He absolutely loves the car, and I've been wanting it ever since I saw it. My wife, of course, says, "Ewwww, it'* my dad'* car!" Anyway, I look forward to getting to know some of you other proud owners, and wish me luck in my first Bonneville!

We just recently found some new sources for series 1 performance mods.....cams, rockers, heads, etc.

I have had 4 daily driver Bonnevilles over the past 4 years. I've put over 200,000 miles on them. I bought my first one off an insurance auction because my mom had had good luck with her 1988 and 1992 Olds 98'* and the B-ville had the same drivetrain. I bought that one (1992 SE) with 165,000 miles and drove it until right around 300,000 miles when the rear bumper was shoved almost all the way into the back seat by a un-insured Jeep Cherokee. I walked away with only the slightest case of whip-lash.
That car taught me something -not only are they mediocerly powered, reliable, attractive, but very safe.
I am currently back to driving the 3rd one I bought as a daily driver (my 1994 SLE) as I had to sell my 1999 SSEi (the 4th B-ville). Now with the raise I recieved (1 week after I sold the SSEi) and the totally new (and MUCH better) compensation plan I am considering buying another Series II L67 B-ville (or Park Avenue).
