I've got a Bonneville on Layaway!
Hi guys! Well, officially I don't belong here yet, 'cause it'* not technically mine.. But I'm still giddy nonetheless. Not five minutes after expressing my disdain for green cars, especially green Pontiacs.. I fell in love with a green '96 SSE.
My boyfriend and I have looked at at least five other Bonnevilles. From the '95 SSEI that *overheated* on the test drive, to the one that had hit a pedestrian according to Carfax (and apparently, the car lost.. It was heartbreaking) to the '95 SE with high miles for $8k.. Every single one has had something wrong. This one doesn't have a CD player or a sunroof.. But I'm still in love. I'm easily amused by gadgetry.. I'd probably buy a wheelbarrow if it had heads up display, so this Bonneville sets my heart ablaze.
I'll officially be picking it up within the next two weeks.. And these will be the longest weeks of my life.
And before the obligatory pic post... I must say pardon the dust. We stumbled upon the car lot so soon after the car was dropped off that the previous owner'* pens were still on the seat, so needless to say, detailing didn't exactly happen.
