Default New in not so snowy Canada

Hello everyone from Cobourg, Ontario, Canada! I have had my bonnie for a couple of months and am finally getting to posting myself on here. I just came from the 1990 Corsica camp and had to put her out to pasture (literally sitting in a field). I purchased a 2000 Bonneville SSEi and am loving it, my wife and I just had a baby so I had to sneak this purchase in before all the minivan talk started. But being Canadian and kinda slow eh, I left my moon roof and now have electrical trouble on my doors. Any help would be much appreciated (I am the last post).

Thanks!

Hi Dan,
Welcome.
Funny because I bought my SSEi recently as we needed a bigger car because baby #2 is on the way. Yes, I had to sneak it by as there was some crazy talk about a minivan in our household, I just couldn't do it.
What'* also funny is our previous car was a Pontiac Tempest.
Like your Corsica, I'm sure you found the back seat to be too small to consider putting a baby seat back there? I know I did!
My son'* in a booster, and there was no way a rear facing seat would fit as well.
Luckily the Bonneville'* have a nice, big back seat!

Hopefully the guys help with your electrical issues.

Cheers,
Adam

It'* like you live in a parallel universe! I know it is just a matter of time before baby #2 comes and the minivan talk will start again. Any advise on stopping this nonsense would be much appreciated!

Hi Dan,
Here'* how I played it:
We were looking through used car papers, and I convinced my wife that we could buy a better car for the amount of money we budgeted to spend vs a van.
I told her mini vans have a higher re-sale value, and it would be smarter to put our money into a car instead of a van that would break down all of the time.

Worked like a charm.
I told her the Bonneville was the way to go because it has such a giant back seat.
When we picked it up, she said, "What'* a Supercharger?"
I told her it was a feature that made the car a bit more emissions friendly. Ha ha!

I sometimes see the value of having a mini-van, like going to the hardware store and having to haul bulky items. My thoughts wandered once to thinking it would be nice to have one.
I quickly squashed that thought, tucked it away into the back of my mind, and told it to never come back.

Good luck!
Adam
