What year, make, and model is this for, and with which engine? Your description indicates 3.3 V6, but your text indicates '94-'96, which is after the 3.3 was discontinued.

Pulled from visitor messages:
25535351
My car is a 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera SL V6
I'm in Need of a Idler Pulley for my car GM doesn't make it and I can't find one.
1G3AM54N3N6307579
PLEASE HELP
It took me a minute to figure out what was going on, however the part number you listed as your first line is actually the water pump pulley.

I am not sure exactly what you are trying to accomplish.
If you need an actual idler pulley to serve in place of the waterpump, I am not aware of any.
If you just need a replacement pulley to go on the water pump, because yours was damaged, destroyed, or is otherwise unavailable, any 3300 or 3800 from 87-95 should have the same pulley. Just pop in to a junk yard, yank one off, wave around a $10 bill at the cashier, and you will probably be set.

I mean heck, even this one should work in theory:
BUICK OLDSMOBILE 88 98 PONTIAC GM 3.8 WATER PUMP PULLEY 1991

If I am missing something, please fill me in.

Pulled yet again from visitor messages:
At first the shop told me I needed a Water Pump Pulley, then mgt. says it'* a "Idler Pulley" but according to the mechanic him self it is and was a water pump pulley.
The problem is finding a 1992 Olds or Buick, most of the junk yards here do not have anything that Old. They say can't make enough money on a car that old. I love this car it only has 99,500 miles, and I did buy it for ok a little old lady.
Please keep the discussion here, it not only helps others help you, but it also keeps the information organized for those that may be searching for it in the future.

Why do they feel it needs to be replaced? What issues were you having that led up to this?

If it was damaged, the link I shared to ebay should be fine. As mentioned, it was shared with the same era 3800.

If it'* the water pump itself that needs to be replaced, you usually transfer the pulley from the old pump to the new pump.
