Default New Bonnie Owner...

Hey all!!
I'm a first time owner of a Bonneville. Although I have admired her for quite awhile from afar, this is my first one.
Sorry, no pics yet, just picked her up today. A 1994 SE. She'* a beauty and low miles.
Any advice on extras or words of caution I should know?
Oh... yea, she has one problem, something called a "throttle valve seal/gasket" I'm replacing it next weekend, I was told its a pervasive problem with this engine, but not a big deal. If anybody knows anything about this, feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Well, so long for now, i'll pop up again soon!!

Luvy...

Welcome to the club. The bonnevilles are great cars. You made a great decision. The only thing that I can really think of off hand is the Upper Intake Manifold gaskets tend to go out and leak coolant into your motor. So if your car starts loosing coolant, but doesn't leak anywhere externally. Then stop driving the car and get it looked at......

AND GET SOME PICS ASAP!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome.

Welcome!!!
If it'* the Throttle body gasket be sure to clean the plate in the throttle body while the throttle body is off.
Congrats on the purchase -once you go Bonneville -you'll never stray (at least you'll be sure to have at least one in your stable even if you do buy something else).
