Carrier Bearing Bar

Carrier Bearing Bar
Hello all I'm new to the forum and I have something that will soon be a big problem on my pickup. It'* a 2000 Silverado Z71 ext. cab long bed, and it has a two peice driveshaft in it. There is a raised bar that the carrier is bolted to of which I cannot find anywhere. I have found drop kits on rough country but I don't know if I can just bolt one of those in and eliminate that bar because it'* rusting out badly. Thank you for any and all help!

Why not get rid of the bar and have a custom single driveshaft made?

From the pics, it looks like the bar is an integrated part of the frame.
Is this even a serviceable component, or are you counting on chopping and welding to a frame that doesn't look to be doing much better?

That was going to be my next question. What does the frame look like.
