Oil pressure normal????

Hello there! I'm trying my best to diagnose issues with my Yukon in taking the family on a long trip and would like it to run smoothly!
now the question that I've always wondered. The oil pressure! It's 40 at 2000 and 20 at an idle. Is this normal? I'm running on 1000 since last oil change.

So this is normal?

Yeah, that's pretty normal. I've seen lower oil pressures on the same generation Yukon/Suburban/Tahoe/etc. and they are fine too.

Not quite related: Keep an eye on oil level during your drive.

Yes absolutely, with every fill. Thank you
