With that size of truck, that'* honestly about as good as you are going to get in my opinion. You can follow all the standard procedures, proper tire inflation, cut weight, drive slower, but they all make such a small difference that when you are getting that kind of mileage you will likely not even be able to tell.

Sorry I don't have the miracle advice you are looking for! Perhaps one of our large truck driving members will have some good tips for you.

Air your tires up properly.Keep your foot out of it.dont work it more than you need to per situation.take any crap out of the bed that doesnt need to be there.Make sure your brakes are all in good shape and not dragging and thats about it..me personally i drive trucks for a purpose.I have a truck as my DD and it does EVERYTHING i ask it to so in return i dont mind the non car like gas mileage as it is a truck. For good mpg you want either a small engine (5.3) or so or a car.....

X2 on the previous posts, if your car/truck/bike is in good shape the biggest economy aid is sitting in the drivers seat,

thats pretty good already, i only ever got 11-12 with my old 6.0 work truck. the gears are designed to tow not get good mileage. now if you want to change gears, tune etc.... you might get some more but it will make the truck not be able to do what its supposed to.
