Those are the only 2 in our area unfortunately, so I have to go elsewhere, and that'* a minimum of 150mi round trip to have it done. So I'm going to see what GM says when they respond to my complaint. Unfortunately we just don't have the selection of dealerships that are able to competently diagnose and repair vehicles where we live. I did bring up the bulb issue, especially since I have aftermarket ones in them that are $250 retail. But I'll keep at them. Thanks for the input.
If you tell them you put aftermarket bulbs in your vehicle they are going to say you broke the seal causing the moisture or that the new bulbs are not making the correct seal causing the issue. I would put the original back in before sending it in for repairs.

I know, I don't tell them that unless there is a problem. You cannot physically tell a difference between the oem 4300K bulbs and the 6000K bulbs I run. So they are clueless, like 99.99% of all dealership service employees!

And a couple of the times I did out the OEM bulbs back in, no change whatsoever in the moisture issue

I was going to say, there is a huge temperature difference between 4300k and 6000k bulbs.

Here'* a test to eliminate the bulbs. Disconnect one headlight for the weekend and compare the moisture levels Monday morning.

I wish that would be the case. Unfortunately before I ever installed the 6K bulbs they were leaking like crazy. I've tried removing the covers to let more air flow into the headlight assembly. Nothing seems to change the fact that they are consistently defective. The leaking is definitely better with the 6K bulbs. Also, the lights are leaking without using the actual headlights, the led drl'* run obviously, but don't make much heat. So it'* happening when the headlights are not even being used. Thanks for the idea.

From the pictures I just can't see why they haven't replaced them again. I hate that you have a bad experience with a GM Dealership. My family owns the one I work at and we bend over backwards to make sure every customer is happy. I wish you were closer because we would definitely fix all this for you. You really do have a legitimate problem. If you want to drive to SC I can fix it for you lol.

Thanks, by the time I got there it would be past 36K miles. I do have a expensive warranty after 36K so I would assume that would cover the lights leaking. It'* a $100 deductible for each time it goes in, no matter how many issues, only $100. It is a legitimate problem, and what really gets me, is how GM sits back and does nothing about it. They are just ok with this ongoing problem and continue to say they stand by the dealerships assessment. So when the dealership says that'* normal and to be expected, GM won't do anything because they say the dealership said it'* normal! It'* an absolute joke, the GM dealerships around here. It disgusts me. I own 3 other GM vehicles, and not ONCE have they ever been in for any service! Never have I had lights leak on vehicles like GM'* newer ones. I wish I was closer to SC cause I would do that. Appreciate the insight and offer. Thanks

Most excellent news arrived in the mail today! I didn't anywhere near amount I was asking for, which I knew I wouldn't, but I started high at least. Not really the biggest deal, the dollar amount, moreso that I won and proved my case. As you can see, the judge feels the same and that GM owes me a lot more.

It was funny, the dealership had like 6 people come, made it seem like they are a big deal. The company that did the coating is actually owned by the dealership, I didn't know that, but was made clear they are in-fact part of the dealership. When the employee from the dealership was asked about the procedures and such, he went thru all the prep that they go thru, and even specifically stated that they mask off all the shocks and such. When they looked at the pictures, and showed all the overspray everywhere, they were speechless, not once did they make a comment on any of the pics. So my next battle will be continue fighting with GM and how they are going to help get to the bottom of this issue.

Just wanted to share the good news!!

Does anyone know who or how to contact the legal department at GM? The worthless individual that called me from the executive customer assistance office said repeatedly, "I don't have access to that information." When asked who does or what office does, I was continually told there is no one there who has access to that information. This is your typical corporate response when they don't want to deal with the situation, rather avoid it at all costs. I was told if I had a lawyer that they would have that information, and I stated I don't have one nor would I use one when they charge asinine fees for doing simple work. So apparently unless you have a lawyer, you are not able to get in touch with the legal department at GM. Appreciate any help so I can pursue legal action against GM for this situation. Thanks
