I just bought a new key fob for my truck and have programmed it. Unfortunately, the horn nor the lights come on when being locked and unlocked remotely. Is there a way to program the remote for the lights and horn to function? Note: the pass. Side rear door has a faulty actuator and is read as being open despite it actually being closed. Thanks guys!

I believe it will not actually "secure" itself all the way if it thinks a door is open. It will make a best-effort to lock but not sound the horn announcing that it is secure.

Sounds like you have to replace the door ajar switch on that side(believe it is part of the latch mechanism)....

Look up "personalization" in your owner'* manual......you have the ability to program whether you want the lights and/or horn to come on, or stay off.....my wife leaves very early in the morning, and I programmed her horn off, so not to awaken anyone...
