Anyone familiar with United/DELPHI Tr-Pak tune up kit?
Went to RockAuto to get some plugs, plug wires, distributar cap and rotor to do a tuneup on a 1998 S10 4.3L.
I only go OEM for the cap and rotor, and came across UNITED IGNITION WIRE 17650 kit ($58.79), which contains:
UNITED Tri-Pak Tune-Up Kit; INCLUDES: United/Delphi-Packard OEM Silicone wire set, Heavy Duty Cap & Rotor w/ BRASS contacts
Premium United - Best
Premium Packard/Delphi Wire
95% silicone composition
Custom tailored to fit application
More Information for UNITED IGNITION WIRE 17650
Has anyone heard of these kits before and if so- are they really DELPHI parts?

Nope, never have. Probably another re-branded branded product. Basically, a cheap Duralast, NAPA, Advance knockoff.
In my research on Blazerforum, I've seen where people have more issues with cheap ignition parts(cap/rotor) vs the higher priced ones. Meaning, moisture issues.

That would probably be the best way to go in this situation.

there are many people who complain about the cheap vortec caps, seems alot of them short internally, must be the traces run close together. so i got the delphi ones, its not terribly expensive and its been fine, and mine sits alot they dont like that.
