Default 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT

I have one question. Has anyone heard of having a new truck that has one door, that is a different shade. My buddy showed me the shade difference, at first I thought he was crazy, but sure enough, it is. I drove to two different paint and body shops, and they see it also. what should I do...?

There is nothing you can do. It'* possible that door was painted with a different batch then the rest of the truck. Or that door was replaced after the truck left the factory. Look for your VIN stickers and see if they match.

Only option is to repaint the entire truck. The good thing is, its a new truck. That eliminates a lot of body prep. Unless you were to change the color, then you are looking at a full blown paint job.

More than likely they may say, "we don't see anything wrong".

If you buy a new truck, should the paint match on all the different parts

Yes, it should. Is this one of the main doors?

If you can find them, look for the GM vin stickers. Usually on the inside door jamb of each door. If the door with odd paint is missing one, chances are, that door was replaced. Probably due to another customer needing a door and they raped your truck before it was sold to you.
