I dont think the 04 have a return line. Gm changed them to a return less system. There is a tool that pulls the line onto the plastic or metal barb attacment as long as you have the right stuff you shouldn't need clamps. They go real hard hence why they dont come off.

I don't think a warranty will cover anything outside part/labor failure. If they can show that it didn't fail, then they won't pay for it.

It'* an aftermarket warranty we bought with the truck. Bumper to bumper. $100 deductible per repair. We used it to get the dash cluster fixed when half of it decided to stop working.

those couplers are only a few bucks, wort case ive bought new custom made lines from carquest for 40-50. its alot easier to work on if you take it out, or take it out enough so you can work on it

i did it by myself once before on my 89 sclb used 2in ratchet straps in the front and my cherry picker in the rear, between the tool box i had and the long bed it would have taken 4 or more for that any way. when we did the pump in my fil'* short bed, he took the box out and he and i lifted the box off and out of the way. although i havent done it my self ive heard others say all you need to do is lift it strait up a bit and put blocks in between the frame and bed. that maybe something to do if its just going to be you
