My advice. Buy something else.

If the trans has reverse and 3rd only you can see if there is battery power on the E terminal (pink wire) of the trans connector harness side. That circuit is power to all the solenoids inside the trans. Those years I saw issues with the ignition switch. Other than that not alot of info to go on. Hope this helps.

Thank you
for now I can't check the electric system but i try to get ideas what could be the problem , to figure out if it major problem or burning fuse.
Today I start the car with the seller , it run fine in P , and the R moved great . When I put in D it seem OK but feel hard movment.
something else , the speedometer not working at all , and the front AC too .
I think it relative ...

Please keep the conversation to one topic at a time please. If you want, you are free to start an A/C question in a new thread.

Sorry Mike , maybe you don't understand me ... I mention all those fault cause I think they all relative to one electric problem .

The a/c system is on its own. Nothing to do with how an engine runs.

Update : Today I bought the car . :)
I connected to OBDII and pull the faults :
P0753
P1860
P1864
P1886
what I told before not correct , the gauge works (speedometer , fuel , temp...) but the gear indicator in the center (screen) not works at all .

please , the codes mean something about my trany problem ?

Thank you very much !

P0753 = 1-2 shift solenoid electrical issue, P1860 = TCC PWM solenoid electrical issue, P1846 = TCC Solenoid electrical issue, P1886 = 3-2 shift solenoid electrical issue. Check the trans fuse in the Instrument panel fuse block. Check if there is battery power on the E terminal at the transmission connector (pink wire). Use a light with a bulb in it not an LED, this will put more of a load on the circuit. Possible ignition switch issue. A bad switch could also cause other electrical problems. With the information you provided I think this would be a place to start. Hope you find this helpful.

I just seen a couple references on google where 1995-1999 GM trucks had issues with the ignition switch,(not the lock) causing electrical issues INCLUDING transmission electrical faults.
