Zach hits a pole.........now with pictures!!!

no they have to be hung on poles!!! big ones!!!
aight heres what happened:
i pull into ur average small town gas station to get some gum cause i want some, i get back in the car, kinda periphally scan for CARS, im ready to go home after a hard day so i punch it a little, maybe takin it to a little over 2 grand. i catch a glimpse of somethin big and white in my rearview, i go what is tha-SMACK!!!.i go oh heck no, i pull forward and sho nuff i done did hit a pole, a big square one. list of damages:
chipped spoiler
cracked taillight cover
cracked plastic "Pontiac" thingy
quite creased trunk
cracked bumper

the trunk still functions but its kinda wierd. the black part that sits on top of the bumper when the trunk is open is apparently metal, and the bumper was pushed upward and bent that, but when the bumper came back down the metal stayed bent, so the trunk closes kinda lopsided.but its still driveable, the insurance should cover my ignorance, but it probly wont be cheap, and we really cant afford it right now. mom said "ooooh Zach!!!" and dad said nothing.......im not a happy camper..I HURT MY BABY!!! *runs off crying* oh yeah if they let me drive it to school tomorrow ill get pics.

Dude! That blows!
Ive scared my self a few times almost hitting shit, knowing the way i drive i will eventually!
Sorry to hear it!

Roadrash187 02-12-2004 10:28 PM

Sorry to hear that. Your best bet would be to find a junk yard & hope to find a car in the same color.

PontiacDad 02-12-2004 10:34 PM

Wow, very sorry news. I'm glad you have ins cause that sounds like a couple grand?

LittleHoov 02-12-2004 10:42 PM

mom says we cant claim it on insurance because my name isnt on the list of drivers (im on another vehicle and i do drive both) so yeah no fixy fixy. my only hope is that its not to expensive and i can pay to have it fixed out of my own pocket in the summer when i make money.

SSE14U24ME 02-12-2004 10:59 PM

Who is your insurance company? I work for one of the big insurance companies and our policy is that as long as you are a rated driver on any household vehicle you are covered on them all. For all they know you were running an errand for your mother.

LittleHoov 02-12-2004 11:04 PM

well yeah they COULD claim it theyre just not goin too because my mom said our rates will be really high if they do, specially since im not listed as a driver of the car. so yep "icing on the cake" as Matt said on msn

Twister97 02-12-2004 11:40 PM

That blows about your car! There is a lot of those stupid signs here in Kansas, more than any other place I lived at before.

Reminds me of the pole I rubbed this winter...I got off lucky tho..

Sorry to hear the bad news Zach...slowly but surely we can help ya find parts for cheap at GMPD.com or scour wreckers...sounds cosmetic albeit a royal PITA :x
