warranty expired on the tranny
the used tranny with 43K on it was purchased on jan 27 with a 60 day warranty...
im now like 70 days into the warranty and the trans is performing flawlessly...
only mod to it was the shift kit
its holding together great for the way its driven... trans cooler is going on ASAP, its getting hot around here! normal driving consists of 150* with spikes of 170-175* on high speeds runs...
*FINGERS CROSSED*
*KNOCK ON WOOD*

Trannies definately sound if it took a 60 day HaroFreak smoke test. Glad to hear you got the end of your performance under control. TWENTY Five degree spikes in water temp???..........hehehe..... of course this is being done on a closed course, by a professional driver, right :?:
But seriously Haro do you have the water/methanol injection...I forget and if not would that help your sharp temp rise. I get it myself even with the nitrous being -170 degrees, she gets up to like 220 afer a good workout.

Gotcha, as a non tranny temp gauge car owner it was easy to confuse that. I quess once again I got to another important mod to install. Tranny temp monitoring is definatly a Good thing.

the 4T80-E diff is FAR larger in comparisson as well lol
thats what we need, stronger diffs.
My trans has about 7000kms left on its warranty, it shifts sooo hard its amazing lol
My diff is original..i try not to break em loose, it happens now and then, but nothing too serious, never with the ebrake on or anything.
Hope this one holds up for you haro.
