Default White trim?

Took the wood trim off the dash today to fix a squeek and got me thinking that it might look cool to paint it white. What do you guys think?

If i did it would be white in only the areas of the wood in the picture below:

Anyone else done this before?

I ain't voting til someone photoshops it for ya.

But I'm leaning towards keep the wood. White just sounds kinda odd to me.

This photoshoping goes beyond my talents (couldnt get the white to have dimension of sorts and playing with the wood colors was next to impossible). I wouldnt say white but maybe match the color of your seats. Like a gray of sorts.

white COULD be interesting.....but i'd probably run to a wrecker and try to find another one to TEST colors on.....i have 2.......the wood grain from a 92 sse and the stock from my car....right now i painted it mostly black with white above the steering wheel.....looks ok.......

i'm glad i had the spare one when i was painting some crazy blues, chrome looking silver, etc!

Light up dice huh....

The wood seems out of place, it'* the only thing. I dunno about white though. You've got grey seats right?

Yeah, I've got the gray cloth seats. Maybe I'll look for another trim piece from the wrecker and use it instead of the one i have now......

Any more thoughts?

I think the white would look nice. It would bring everything together. The woodgrain just seems out of place.
