Default Series 1 to Series 2 Swap?? Is this Possible??

How hard would it be to put a series II Engine in my 1994? Has enyone ever done this? Just an Idea I had to get some more power in my beast. I drive my Brother in laws 1997 Regal LS sometimes and I can notice his series II N/A has alot more Balls than my Series I.

Yes...but very expensive, you need a new engine, tranny, PCM and wiring..

Nice work if you can get it. Its cheaper to buy a Series II car

I saw on a pontiac parts site, I forget the one, rebuilt engines for our cars for $1500 or so. I was thinking of buying a series II from there for my 1994. Its probably more trouble than its worth right?

Like Jim said, it will be cheaper to buy a 95 SE and up SE or a 96 and up SSEi (if you want a supercharger)

Is there alot more power in a series II than series I? I am happy with the way my series I is. Runs great. However My Brother in laws Regal needs turned up, eats gas like crazy and you can really notice more power. His regal is all stock and runs on 87 octane gas. I thought if the Series IIs are that much more powerful than it might be a good idea for me to put one in my Bonny. It would be for a while. I like to plan ahead and save up for major projects like this. Or should I focus on Modding My series I to get as much HP as the Series II??
