Default grill question

Did the Honeycomb grill only come with SE'* and chrome trim like this? I'd like to find one without chrome trim so i could paint it.

SE and SSE are NOT interchangeable. You must get a 92-95 SSE/i. GM still has painted ones for about $70-80.

Check your RPO codes. It may be an SLE package.

Checked the code, and no H4U to be had. checked the VIN to make sure, and the spare cover matches the window VIN. My car is just a freak i guess.

I'm guessing a front-ender before you owned the car.
