The Monsoon system runs at 1 ohm. It'* quite tough to find speakers that will do that w/o killing the bank. The monsoon amp doesn't have a power turn on wire, it comes on when it detects sound on the channel.

I removed the amp and the 50 wires running the length of the car.

Alright, so I'm going to have to plan to start from scratch then since I doubt I'll find any 4 channel amps that are 1 ohm stable either.

The other thing is, my headlight lenses are a bit oxidized at the top. I've seen some people sand that down with fine grit and buff it till its clear again. Any ideas on how to do that, or would it be simpler (and not too expensive) to just replace the lenses?

find a headlight restore kit. I got one that had 4-5 grits of sandpaper plus a buffing compound. Sit down in front of the tv with a headlight on a towel and go through the motiions..

At first it looks horrible, each grit of paper makes it better and polishing is back to a nice looking headlight.

I'll get to black out the headlight borders while I'm at it. Woot!

Only if you take the headlight apart. I didn't Have someone photoshop it first. May look like you punched the Regal and gave it a black eye.

I'll look for some pictures. I do have a feeling that the inside is faded as well so I might have to take it apart anyway.
