Ouch.
I remember doing something similar with my old Pontiac Tempest. I drove it for about 2 wks after repairing the tires, then the steering idler arm broken off with a piece of the frame.

So make sure your suspension and steering parts connection points are sound.

They are always the worst, when you know there is no one else to blame but yourself, I did something similar fooling around on the ice in my old rear wheel drive monte carlo and I smacke a curb after spiining donuts in a parking lot.

Yep... me too... going through a corner in beginning of a snow storm a few years back.. stepped on the gas to put the car into a drift in turn.. it went.. then it caught traction mid way through and I didnt have enough time to react, so I caught traction and understeered onto the curb on passenger side..  . Give it one thing guys... at least there wasn't an audience there to point and laugh at your mis fortune..
