I need an opinion...
I'm thinking about buying this 93 SSEi from the kid at my work. He said I could have it for $400 and I could screw around with it all I wanted to get it running before I give him one dollar.
Body and interior are in great shape. NO rust. Paint has a few small scuffs. The car does have 165k on it, but I'm not really worrying about that. You can't beat $400,
My question is this - if I get it running - would you buy it? I'm going to work on saturday to try to get it running - and I've got a donor parts car for it

I would. But I'm into the Series 1 engines. Brady, I bought a 156K car, but it was because it came from Bill. I was confident that it had no serious problems, and the most major repairs I did have to do with it was with Bill nearby helping me.
Its definately going to be a "fixer-upper", one way or another. On the other hand you're getting the best Series 1 year, with the bits from the 95 that can really turn the difference. (The Gen 3 supercharger).
Your call guy, thats my 2 cents.

I don't know. If I had extra money laying around; along with a lot of time, I'd do it. But I think you could put your money towards something different and better...
