Bonneville Curb Weight?
Darn it, i know we have discussed this before, but when i searched for it i couldn't find it.
how much do our cars weigh?
i have to ask because somehow my sister wormed her way into an '87 corvette and she wants to race me. YEAH-YEAH she should smoke me, especially since my Dad says it is somewhat modified. but her car weighs, what? all of 2700 pounds? my Dad was saying his '68 chevelle weighs about 3700 and he couldn't believe our cars weigh that much. oh, and i keep challenging him to a race also - mostly to get him to un-garage QUEEN his car. he hasn't driven it in over 5 years!! he has a 427 in it and ran high 13s in the day when it was a modded 396. hopefully, someday soon we can have a family drag day. :P
until then - what do our beasts weigh again?

We are around 3400-3500 according to my semi-clouded memory.
87 was one of the slowest production years for the vette...she'll prolly smoke you. But...if could be fun in the correct conditions. Enjoy the time at the track.

well almost
the SE is around 3450
the SSE is around 3550
and the SSEi is around 3690
that is for the 92-95 models, and the 2000+ is about 400 lbs heavier than the 92-99, all of the weights depend on he options installed in the car
