Winter Protection

Takin my car in tomorrow for it's bi-yearly "Oiling" Get the underside done before them Moron's dust the roads with that damn salt! Would like to know what you guys have done to protect your winter driven bonnies....recommendations?....good products?
This product looks good http://www.corrosionfree.com but haven't used it.

I just used some rubber undercoating for the wheel wells and parts of the underbody. This was a while ago, but it will help through the winter. Plus I spray water underneath the car a couple times a week in the winter to get all the salt and crap off.

Although it will be better protected this winter, I still wish I had a winter beater to drive instead. :?

I've been rustproofing my Bonny @ Rust Check for the las three years & they've always done an excellent job.

As a matter of fact, I just took mine for its rustproofing ritual three days ago.

A friend of mine uses Krown & he seems to be happy with them as well.

Read the warranty. It only covers for repairs to sheetmetal that has actually perforated. Surface rust is not covered.

The only thing I have to do yet to get mine winterized is to fix some rust spots so they dont get worse.

Don't be fooled folks....even with the factory crap they offer, it's always wise to get a good undercoating of spray rust inhibitor, every year or two.....Look at my car...it's testimonial to how that process works :thumbup2: ...an '89
so boys n' girlz if ya drive in the salt and crap, OIL IT!!!!

Mine was done by GM last year, both rust and underbody oil protection. Should be good until next winter
