Insuring my Bonneville.
Right now I have to pay $101 a month in MINIMUM Illinois liability coverage. What Insurers would I find a better rate?

Wierd, around here Progressive is the usually the highest.
I have had good luck with AllState, and we switched to Nation Wide and they were even $10 a month cheaper.

I was with Esurance for a while, and they were the cheapest I could get. I just switched to 21st, and my insurance went down like 600 a year, and I have better coverage.
You're still a teen, right? Hate to tell ya this, but you WON'T find cheap insurance until you are 25. It'* part of adulthood initiation, didn't you get the memo?

When it comes to insurance companies, you may want to check with a few people who are already insured with that particular insurance company. You want a company that is fast with claims, and generally wont give you the run around if something happens to your car, it seems like unless you drive a new car, you almost get the back burner with some companies, around here anyway.

Im with progressive. I have on it my 95 SSEi. $300 for 6 months all basic.
Geico i checked and its like $230 for 6 months.
So those two you should check into.
*edit*
Im only 23 but i do have a 100% clean driving record.

i'm with Nationwide. $116/mo for my bonneville with storage insurance (comprehensive basically) and my Acura with Full coverage. I'm 24, so I haven't recieved the "you're finally an adult" discount yet, but having two cars does give me a multi-car discount. Not sure what that is.
It also varies by area. Insuring my car where I am currently at is over $400 cheaper every 6 months than where I was living before, and geographically, they were only 170mi apart. So your best bet is to talk to people near you as some of us will have changes in our rates based on location
Also, in my dealings with insurance companies, I have seen Geico and Progressive be very fast for response and no real hassle to deal with. Progressive even brought their mobile response unit to my house 2 days after the accident to look at my old bonneville after I got hit. With nationwide, I have not had to actually go through them for a claim, but the service I have got is exceptional and the website is easy to use to do stuff online.

I quoted Esurance, Geico, and Progressive. Esurance was the most, and Progressive beat Geico by about 20% for me.
I pay $280 for 6 months for BOTH cars through Progressive.
