Default Bonneville 2+2

Interesting project PMD or maybe one of you, take the Bonneville SE basic trim package with consol add a the F41 suspension and 17inch wheels and tires, high performance exhaust a heavy duty trans trick out with 3.41 final drive posi, with a L67 Supercharge and modified series II engine. Do you think it would sale.
No rear wing or ground effects just straight sleeper.

Oh yeah! and have 2+2 emblems on the sail panels.

Give me some feedback.

Are you speaking hypothetically? or is this a serious project that you want to undertake?

Its a very daunting task to swap a 92 L27 for an L67. But if you feel you can do it, then give er

It did back in '62 when they stuffed a Super Duty 421 engine in a 2 Door Catalina Hardtop. I believe they lightened the car further by giving it an aluminum hood and "swiss cheese" frame(ie. they cut holes in the frame to further lighten the car). This car had No options. I mean No Power Steering, No A/C and No Heat. It was built for the quarter mile and not much else. But it did have the 2+2 emblems on the front quarter panels. I gotta find a picture of one on the net one of these days.

I wasn't too far off. The 1961 Catalina offered your engine (the SD-421). It was 1963 the the Super Stock lightweight was given the "Swiss Cheese" frame. The Super Stock lightweight SD 421/410: 1/4 mile in low 12s at more than 116 mph is probably the fastest production full sized Pontiac to date. In 1964 it gained the 2+ 2 name.

Here'* the link.

Sleeper *cough* right here *cough*. What? :?:

Easier task would be to find a supercharged SE.
