I do mostly highway (95%) and get about 19.9 MPG - and thats up and down the various mountain roads in Southern CA. I'm pretty happy. I have to drive 'easy' to get those numbers though, but I do get to do some "power passing" on occasion

I have an 05 GXP with about 8k miles on it. I drive about 75 miles round trip to work (mostly interstate) and average about 18.6-19.5 mpg. Couple of short highway trips showed about 21-22mpg taking it easy (60-65mph). Only time I see the 24 advertised on the sticker (or more) is coasting down a big hill !!!

Just cheked today and I am at 16.8 mpg and I drive pretty fast most the time. Highway was like 22. And as far as the SSEi and GXP mpg difference dont expect a V8 to get the mileage of a V6

I have had my new 2005 GXP for less than 2 weeks now - but I had a 1,600 mile drive home with it - Ha! I live just southwest of Houston, TX and bought my car in northern Virginia and drove down through Charlotte, NC. I reset the fuel avg every time I filled up and had a high of 21.4 mpg and a low of 19.4 mpg. Not too bad as I was usually around 75mph and in some hilly conditions at times.

Not from the DIC calculation once running. We're doing the math at fillup when we state 30mpg or better.

My SSEi actually gets 32mpg now at 70mph on long trips (tank to tank).
